The Xenia Scouts (10-6) needed 10 innings on Friday to take down the Richmond Jazz (3-14) 6-3 at McBride Stadium.
With the score tied at three in the tenth inning, Colt Wolfe came to the plate and homered, bringing home Chandler Adkins and Adrian Marquez.
Adkins was hot from the plate for the Xenia Scouts. Adkins went 4-5 and scored two runs. He tripled in the eighth inning and singled in the third, fifth, and tenth innings.
Jacob Chrysler pitched lights out for the Xenia Scouts. Chrysler held the Richmond Jazz hitless over 1 2/3 innings, allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out one.
Despite the loss, the Richmond Jazz's Joe Pourier dominated the Xenia Scouts' batters, giving up three runs and striking out six.
