A walk-off from Jimmy Scott brought home the winning run for the Irish Hills Leprechauns (19-19) in a 5-4 victory over the Galion Graders (12-26) in 12 innings at Siena Heights University on Monday.

Scott reached base three times. He also drove in one runner. He doubled in the second inning and singled in the sixth inning.

Ty Suntken had a busy day at the plate, collecting two extra-base hits. He doubled in the first inning and tripled in the third inning.

Cliffton Landess improved to 1-1 on the year by picking up the win for the Irish Hills Leprechauns. He struck out three, walked two and surrendered one hit.

Patrick Dayton (2-1) took the loss for the Galion Graders. He lasted just four innings, walked four, struck out five, and allowed one run.

The Irish Hills Leprechauns were sparked by Jack Clark and Suntken, who teamed up for five hits and two RBIs.
