Nolan Dill was cold coming off the bench, but Dill warmed up quickly as Dill stroked a key pinch-hit single in the eight to lead the Irish Hills Leprechauns (15-14) to a 7-3 win over the Grand Lake Mariners (16-13) on Thursday at Sienna Heights University.

With the Irish Hills Leprechauns leading by one in the eighth inning, Dill came to the plate and singled.

Kendall King reached base four times. He scored two runs and had one RBI. He doubled in the first inning.

Jordan Grosjean brought the heat against the Grand Lake Mariners during his outing. The Grand Lake Mariners managed just three hits off of Grosjean, who allowed two earned runs, walked two and struck out three during his six innings of work.

Tyler Paulsen racked up two RBIs on one hit for the Grand Lake Mariners. He tripled in the sixth inning.

Alex Valasek couldn't get it done on the mound for the Grand Lake Mariners, taking a loss. He lasted just six innings, walked four, struck out two, and allowed four runs.
