Freddy Jehle collected three hits, sparking the Irish Hills Leprechauns (13-14) to a 7-6 victory in seven innings over the Licking County Settlers (14-13) on Wednesday at Siena Heights University.

Kyle Hubbuch had two extra-base hits for the Licking County Settlers. He homered in the fourth inning, singled in the fifth inning, and doubled in the seventh inning.

Brett Nearing got the win, running his season record to 2-2. He allowed one run over two innings. He struck out two, walked two and surrendered three hits.

Brett Kiser couldn't get it done on the mound for the Licking County Settlers, taking a loss. He lasted just 2 1/3 innings, walked three, struck out one, and allowed two runs.
