Caleb Fernholz kept the Irish Hills Leprechauns (9-12) off the board during his seven innings of work and the Xenia Scouts (13-8) beat the Irish Hills Leprechauns, 8-0.

Fernholz struck out three and allowed no walks and four hits.

The Xenia Scouts blew out the Irish Hills Leprechauns thanks to 10 hits, including zero extra base hits. The Xenia Scouts scored four runs in the fifth on the Xenia Scouts scored in the fifth on a single by Ryan OHearn, a groundout by Cary Holloway, a triple by Chandler Adkins, a single by Jeremy Barth, an error, and a single by Evan McDonald.

McDonald racked up five RBIs on three hits for the Xenia Scouts.

Clay Tefft (0-2) took the loss for the Irish Hills Leprechauns. He allowed six runs in four innings, walked one and struck out three.
