A bright spot for the Cincinnati Steam in the defeat was Joseph Martin, who allowed only zero runs while striking out seven.
Wade Martin got the win, running his season record to 5-1. He allowed four runs over five innings. He struck out nine, walked three and surrendered five hits.
Tristan Hammans couldn't get it done on the rubber for the Cincinnati Steam, taking a loss. He lasted just four innings, walked one, struck out three, and allowed five runs.
