The Lima Locos (14-5) beat the S Ohio Copperheads (8-11) 4-2 on Saturday at Bob Wren Stadium behind Jacob Corso, who went 1-3.
He doubled in the seventh inning.Ryan Cyr struck out six hitters en route to the the Lima Locos win. Cyr allowed two earned runs, six hits and no walks over seven innings.
A bright spot for the S Ohio Copperheads in the defeat was Jesse Anderson, who allowed only three runs while striking out 11.
Braden Frankfort racked up two RBIs on two hits for the S Ohio Copperheads. He homered in the fourth inning and singled in the seventh inning.
Anderson was charged with his second loss of the year.
