Devin Rose knocked in three runs, sparking the S Ohio Copperheads (8-10) to a 6-4 victory over the Cincinnati Steam (12-5) on Friday at Bob Wren Stadium.

Wade Martin got the win for the S Ohio Copperheads thanks to eight strikeouts. Martin allowed two earned runs, three hits and no walks over seven innings.

Dan Chmielewski paced the Cincinnati Steam at the plate. Chmielewski went 2-4 and scored two runs. He doubled in the third inning and singled in the eighth inning.

Joseph Martin pitched lights out for the Cincinnati Steam. Martin held the S Ohio Copperheads hitless over two innings, allowed no earned runs, walked one and struck out two.

Tristan Hammans was charged with his first loss of the year. He allowed six runs in six innings, walked one and struck out one.
