The Lorain County Ironmen (7-8) had a tough outing on Tuesday, as the S Ohio Copperheads (6-9) dominated in a 9-3 win at Bob Wren Stadium.

The S Ohio Copperheads scored two runs in the eighth on the S Ohio Copperheads scored in the eighth on an error and an RBI single by Nick Rose.

Brad Baldwin racked up four RBIs on three hits for the S Ohio Copperheads. He homered in the first inning and singled in the fifth and sixth innings.

Luke Hansen put together a nice outing. The Lorain County Ironmen managed just two hits off of the the S Ohio Copperheads' pitcher, who allowed no earned runs, walked one and struck out five during his three innings of work.

Rees Rua had a hot bat for the Lorain County Ironmen. Rua went 2-4 and scored one run. He tripled in the first inning and singled in the sixth inning.

Tyler Johnson improved to 1-1 on the year by picking up the win for the S Ohio Copperheads. He allowed three runs over six innings. He struck out four, walked one and surrendered four hits.

Josh Armbruster was charged with his third loss of the year. He allowed six runs in 5 2/3 innings, walked two and struck out three.
