The Xenia Scouts (6-6) and the S Ohio Copperheads (5-8) both had scoring chances on Saturday, but it was the Xenia Scouts that were able to capitalize on them as they pulled out a 7-6 win at Bob Wren Stadium.

Jeremy Barth racked up two RBIs on one hit for the Xenia Scouts. He homered in the third inning.

Trenton Wood put together a nice outing. The S Ohio Copperheads managed just two hits off of Wood, who allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out two during his 3 2/3 innings of work.

Lee Solomon got on base two times in the game for the S Ohio Copperheads. He scored two runs and had one RBI. He homered in the third inning.

Riley OBrien (0-1) took the loss for the S Ohio Copperheads. He lasted just one inning, walked one, struck out none, and allowed two runs.
