Cole Murphy collected three hits as the Cincinnati Steam (11-2) took home a 4-0 victory over the Licking County Settlers (5-9) at Don Edwards Stadium on Sunday.
He homered in the fourth inning and singled in the first and sixth innings.Brad Kirschner showed great command of his pitches, allowing no walks. The Cincinnati Steam's pitcher pitched five innings, allowing no earned runs and six hits while striking out two.
Ethan Walker allowed one earned run, eight hits and no walks while striking out four over six innings of work.
Walker was charged with his second loss of the year.
