Roscoe Blackburn kept the Licking County Settlers (2-5) off the board during his seven innings of work and the S Ohio Copperheads (3-5) beat the Licking County Settlers, 9-7.

Blackburn struck out four and allowed three walks and two hits.

Brad Baldwin racked up three RBIs on three hits for the S Ohio Copperheads. He doubled in the sixth inning and singled in the fourth and seventh innings.

Kyle Hubbuch racked up three RBIs on two hits for the Licking County Settlers. He doubled in the eighth inning and singled in the ninth inning.

Brett Kiser (0-1) was the game's losing pitcher. He lasted just 3 2/3 innings, walked one, struck out three, and allowed five runs.
