The Lima Locos (4-2) and the Lake Erie Monarchs (3-5) both had scoring chances on Sunday, but it was the Lima Locos that were able to capitalize on them as they pulled out a 4-1 win at Flat Rock Field.

Nick Ernst struck out seven hitters en route to the the Lima Locos win. Ernst allowed no earned runs, five hits and one walk over five innings.

Devin Peters put together a nice outing. The Lima Locos managed just two hits off of Peters, who allowed no earned runs, walked three and struck out three during his 4 2/3 innings of work.

Caleb Smith (0-1) took the loss for the Lake Erie Monarchs. He lasted just 1 1/3 innings, walked two, struck out none, and allowed three runs.
