The Lima Locos (16-7) and the Hamilton Joes (14-8) each put runners in scoring position on Wednesday, but the Lima Locos capitalized on more RBI opportunities, pulling out a 4-3 win at Simmons Field.

It was a good day at the plate for the Lima Locos' DayFran Ortiz. Ortiz went 2-3, drove in one and scored one run. He singled in the fourth inning and homered in the seventh inning.

Eric Hepple recorded his first win of the year for the Lima Locos. Hepple struck out three, walked four and gave up no hits.

Andrew Almquist (0-1) took the loss for the Hamilton Joes. He lasted just two innings, walked one, struck out one, and allowed two runs.
