An outstanding effort by Connor Curlis lifted the Lima Locos (15-6) to a 3-1 win over the Grand Lake Mariners (13-7) on Monday at Simmons Field.

Curlis kept the Grand Lake Mariners off the board during his seven innings of work. Curlis allowed two hits, one walk and struck out six.

Jared Nixon reached base two times in the game for the Lima Locos. He scored one run and had one RBI. He homered in the sixth inning.

Mathew Hudson (1-1) was the game's losing pitcher. He lasted just 5 2/3 innings, walked none, struck out one, and allowed two runs.
