A walk-off single from Ross Adolph brought home the winning run for the Lima Locos (7-3) in a 5-4 victory over the Galion Graders (3-8) in 10 innings at Simmons Field on Thursday.
The Lima Locos were led by Adolph's hitting. Adolph went 2-5, drove in one and scored one run. He singled in the fifth and tenth innings.
Daino Deas II racked up two RBIs on three hits for the Lima Locos. He singled in the fifth, seventh, and ninth innings.
The Galion Graders couldn't get anything going as long as Nick Ernst was pitching. The Galion Graders managed just one hit off of Ernst, who allowed no earned runs, walked one and struck out five during his two innings of work.
David Nicholas Spear improved to 1-0 on the year by picking up the win for the Lima Locos. He struck out one, walked none and surrendered one hit.
Hunter Bradley (0-1) was the game's losing pitcher. He lasted just one-third of an inning, walked two, struck out none, and allowed one run.
