Michael Brown went 3-3 at the plate, sparking the Grand Lake Mariners (22-19) to a 7-5 victory over the Galion Graders (12-29) on Saturday at Montgomery Fld (Eastview Pk).

The Galion Graders couldn't get anything going as long as Shawn Mills was pitching. Mills held the Galion Graders hitless over two innings, allowed no earned runs, walked one and struck out one.

Even though Payton Coddou allowed five runs over seven innings he still recorded the victory, his third of the season. Coddou struck out two, walked two and gave up nine hits.

Patrick Dayton was charged with his second loss of the year. He lasted just two innings, walked one, struck out one, and allowed two runs.
