Josh Armbruster held the Lima Locos (25-12) scoreless for seven innings to boost the Lorain County Ironmen (15-23) to a 8-7 victory.

Armbruster struck out five and allowed two walks and five hits.

Matthew Malkin hit two home runs for the Lorain County Ironmen. Malkin went 3-6 in the game with three RBIs and two runs scored. Malkin homered in the fourth and fifth innings.

Michael Stryffeler improved to 1-0 on the year by picking up the win for the Lorain County Ironmen. He struck out one, walked none and surrendered one hit.

Chandler Waszak was charged with his first loss of the year. He lasted just two-thirds of an inning, walked none, struck out one, and allowed one run.
