The bats were busy at The Pipeyard on Saturday, and when the dust cleared the Lorain County Ironmen (13-18) had an 11-8 win over the Galion Graders (8-23).

The teams totaled 20 hits in the game.

Dan Elliott racked up four RBIs on one hit for the Lorain County Ironmen. He homered in the third inning.

Ridge Winand put himself in scoring position with two extra-base hits for the Galion Graders. He tripled in the second and eighth innings.

Mark Mittiga recorded his first win of the year for the Lorain County Ironmen. He allowed two runs over six innings. He struck out four, walked seven and surrendered three hits.

Jake Stout was charged with his fourth loss of the year. He allowed eight runs in 2 2/3 innings, walked two and struck out none.
