Shevenko allows no runs to lead the Edmonds past the Douglas 8-0

Jason Shevenko kept the Douglas (7-24) off the board during his six innings of work and the Edmonds (26-14) beat the Douglas, 8-0.

Shevenko struck out seven and allowed one walk and three hits.

Everything was working at the plate for the the Edmonds in the sixth. The Edmonds' bats caught fire leading to six runs. The Edmonds scored in the sixth on an RBI single by Spencer Greene, an RBI single by Shane Hanon, , a two-run single by Jesse Moore, and an RBI single by Garrett Gallinger.

Gallinger got on base three times in the game for the Edmonds. He scored one run and had one RBI.

Cole Russell couldn't get it done on the hill for the Douglas, taking a loss. He lasted just five innings, walked three, struck out three, and allowed two runs.
