Alex Perry went 2-4 as the Brockton Rox (14-19) took home a 5-4 victory over the North Shore Navigators (15-18) at Fraser Field on Saturday.
He doubled in the eighth inning.Bryce Tucker handled the North Shore Navigators' lineup with ease, racking up six strikeouts. Tucker allowed three earned runs on four hits and one walk over 6 2/3 innings.
A bright spot for the North Shore Navigators in the defeat was Bobby Tramondozzi, who allowed only two runs while striking out five.
Bryce Verplank improved to 1-1 on the year by picking up the win for the Brockton Rox. Verplank struck out four, walked three and gave up no hits.
Quinn DiPasquale (1-1) was the game's losing pitcher. He lasted just one inning, walked one, struck out one, and allowed one run.
