Speros Varinos allowed no hits to lift the North Shore Navigators (15-17) to a 7-1 win over the Worcester Bravehearts (22-9) at Fraser Field.
The Worcester Bravehearts had no answer for Varinos, who kept runners off the basepaths in his appearance. Varinos held the Worcester Bravehearts hitless over eight innings, allowed no earned runs, walked three and struck out three.
Two pitchers combined to throw a no-hitter for the North Shore Navigators.
The North Shore Navigators turned the win into a rout with three runs in the eighth. The North Shore Navigators scored in the eighth on an RBI single by Jordan Roper and a two-run single by Mike DAcunti.
The North Shore Navigators were led by RJ Warnock's hitting. Warnock went 3-4 and scored two runs. He singled in the third, seventh, and eighth innings.
Mason Feole (0-1) took the loss for the Worcester Bravehearts. He lasted just five innings, walked two, struck out nine, and allowed two runs.
