Ricky Surum racked up two RBIs on four hits for the Marthas Vineyard Sharks. He singled in the first, second, fourth, and fifth innings.

The Wachusett Dirt Dawgs' lineup had no answer for Andrew Misiaszek. The Wachusett Dirt Dawgs managed just two hits off of Misiaszek, who allowed no earned runs, walked one and struck out five during his five innings of work.

Anthony Assante was effective even in defeat, mowing down six the Marthas Vineyard Sharks batters and allowing zero runs.

PJ Browne (1-4) took the loss for the Wachusett Dirt Dawgs. He lasted just two innings, walked three, struck out two, and allowed three runs.
