Mike Coggeshall (Assumption) went 1-3, helping the Worcester Bravehearts (5-3) to a 4-2 victory over the Torrington Titans (3-6) on Sunday at Fuessenich Park.

The Torrington Titans' lineup had no answer for Baylor LaPointe (LIU-Brooklyn). The Torrington Titans managed just two hits off of LaPointe, who allowed no earned runs, walked one and struck out six during his three innings of work.

Jose Negron (Bridgeport) had a busy day at the plate, collecting two extra-base hits. He doubled in the fourth and sixth innings.

Mike Brummel (Wheaton College) improved to 1-1 on the year by picking up the win for the Worcester Bravehearts. He allowed two runs over four innings. He struck out two, walked three and surrendered five hits.

Zee Long (MIT) (0-2) took the loss for the Torrington Titans. He lasted just four innings, walked one, struck out three, and allowed three runs.
