The Bristol Blues (5-3) and the Worcester Bravehearts (4-3) each put runners in scoring position on Friday, but the Bristol Blues capitalized on more RBI opportunities, pulling out a 7-6 win at Muzzy Field.

Zach Scott (Saint Leos) racked up three RBIs on three hits for the Bristol Blues. He doubled in the fourth inning and singled in the sixth inning.

Mike Coggeshall (Assumption) racked up two RBIs on two hits for the Worcester Bravehearts. He singled in the first inning and homered in the fifth inning.

Paul Versteeg (St. Marys) got the win, running his season record to 2-0. He struck out one, walked none and surrendered one hit.

Danny Barlok (Holy Cross) (0-1) took the loss for the Worcester Bravehearts. He lasted just two innings, walked three, struck out four, and allowed four runs.
