Walker helps the Klamath Falls Gems down the South Bay Storm 7-5

Cameron Walker had two extra base hits, helping the Klamath Falls Gems (14-23) to a 7-5 victory over the South Bay Storm (22-18) on Wednesday at Kiger Stadium.

He singled in the first inning and doubled in the fourth and sixth innings.

Dakota Weindell picked up the win for the Klamath Falls Gems. Weindell pitched six innings and allowed one earned run, six hits and no walks while striking out three.

Anthony Lim went a perfect 4-4 at the dish for the South Bay Storm. He singled in the third, fifth, eighth, and ninth innings.

RJ Hanson couldn't get it done on the mound for the South Bay Storm, taking a loss. He lasted just four innings, walked one, struck out five, and allowed five runs.

The Klamath Falls Gems' Wes Carswell, Steve Sordahl and Walker combined for six hits and three RBIs.
