The Nevada Big Horns outlast the Klamath Falls Gems in high-scoring affair, 14-9

Fans were treated to a high-scoring affair Sunday as the Nevada Big Horns (12-15) outscored the Klamath Falls Gems (10-14) 14-9.

The teams totaled 30 hits in the game.

Jack Clouthier had a hot bat for the Nevada Big Horns. Clouthier went 3-5, drove in one and scored two runs. He tripled in the fourth inning and singled in the sixth, seventh, and eighth innings.

Jacob Parrott put himself in scoring position with two extra-base hits for the Klamath Falls Gems. He doubled in the sixth and ninth innings.

Chris Petrosie recorded his second win for the Nevada Big Horns even though he allowed seven runs over six innings. He struck out four, walked one and surrendered nine hits.

Noah Jarboe (3-2) was the game's losing pitcher. He allowed eight runs in 5 2/3 innings, walked two and struck out one.
