A walk-off single from Zach Lewandowski brought home the winning run for the Klamath Falls Gems (6-5) in an 11-10 victory over the California Bees (5-9) at Kiger Stadium on Wednesday.

Lewandowski led the Klamath Falls Gems' offensive threat, as he got on base four times in the game. He scored two runs and had one RBI. He doubled in the third inning and singled in the fourth and ninth innings.

Jacob Parrott had a busy day at the plate, collecting three extra-base hits. He homered in the third inning, singled in the fourth inning, doubled in the sixth inning, and tripled in the ninth inning.

Jacob Trujillo improved to 2-0 on the year by picking up the win for the Klamath Falls Gems. He struck out none, walked none and surrendered no hits.

Bryan Jakiemiec ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his first loss of the year. He lasted just one inning, walked none, struck out one, and allowed four runs.

The Klamath Falls Gems' Kyle Barret, Parrott, Lewandowski and Steve Sordahl combined for 13 hits and eight RBIs.
