Morgan reached base two times. He also drove in one runner. He singled in the ninth inning.
Ethan Fox led the Douglas' offensive threat, as he got on base three times in the game. He doubled in the third inning.
Scott Doucet handled the Olympic's lineup with ease, racking up nine strikeouts. Doucet allowed two earned runs, five hits and three walks over eight innings.
Despite the loss, the Olympic's Hunter Nielsen dominated the Douglas' batters, giving up two runs and striking out nine.
Matt Courneya improved to 1-1 on the year by picking up the win for the Douglas. He allowed three runs over one inning. Courneya struck out none, walked one and gave up three hits.
Zak Reitze ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his third loss of the year. He lasted just zero innings, walked none, struck out none, and allowed no runs.
