The Spokane (5-1) beat the Prairie Baseball Academy 7-3 on Sunday at Spokane Falls Community College behind Garrett Schmerer, who went 2-4.
He singled in the third inning and doubled in the fifth inning.Enrique Martinez put together a nice outing. The Prairie Baseball Academy managed just one hit off of Martinez, who allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out one during his four innings of work.
Jr (0-2) took the loss for the Prairie Baseball Academy. He lasted just 2 1/3 innings, walked four, struck out two, and allowed four runs.
