The Wenatchee Valley offense too much for the Centralia in 21-3 rout

The Wenatchee Valley (1-1) shut the door early on the Centralia (1-1), capturing a 21-3 victory on Sunday at Paul Thomas Sr. Stadium.

Twelve runs in the first three innings allowed the Wenatchee Valley to put the game away early.

A two-run single by Kolby DeHaas, a two-run single by DeHaas, an RBI single by Hayden Stockton, an error, a fielder's choice, an RBI single by Bryan Widener, , a hit by pitch, a sacrifice fly by Gibson Green, and a two-run double by DeHaas in the first inning and and an RBI double by Tanner Schwartz during the second inning supplied the early offense for the Wenatchee Valley.

DeHaas racked up five RBIs on three hits for the Wenatchee Valley.

The Centralia's lineup had no answer for Kyler Watts. Watts held the Centralia hitless over two innings, allowed no earned runs, walked three and struck out five.

Nate Gardner racked up two RBIs on one hit for the Centralia. He homered in the first inning.

Gerardo Reyes improved to 1-0 on the year by picking up the win for the Wenatchee Valley. He allowed three runs over five innings. He struck out six, walked five and surrendered two hits.

Dylan Knoth (0-1) took the loss for the Centralia. He allowed 12 runs in one inning, walked three and struck out none.

The Wenatchee Valley pounded the Centralia pitching, as six hitters combined for 12 hits, 11 RBIs and 12 runs scored.
