A six-run explosion in the seventh inning hoisted the Treasure Valley (29-16) to an 11-1 win in seven innings over the Wenatchee Valley at Elks Memorial on Saturday.
The Treasure Valley scored in the seventh on a three-run error, a double by Jerred Seamons, a double by Seamons, a single by Nolan Jekich, and a two-run single by Kade Hall.
Seamons racked up four RBIs on three hits for the Treasure Valley.
Branden Cutsforth put together a nice outing. The Wenatchee Valley (5-31) managed just two hits off of Cutsforth, who allowed one earned run, walked four and struck out seven during his six innings of work.
Gerardo Reyes was charged with his seventh loss of the year. He lasted just 3 2/3 innings, walked three, struck out one, and allowed five runs.
