The Chemeketa (1-0) rolled over the Treasure Valley (0-1) 9-3 on Friday at Elks Memorial after a five-run rally in the sixth inning.

The Chemeketa scored in the sixth on , a single by Scooter Turin, an RBI single by Andrew Axmaker, , a fielder's choice, and a double by Austin Cline.

Cory Finlay reached base three times. He singled in the second and seventh innings.

Cole Jones did his best to jumpstart the offense for the Treasure Valley, reaching base two times. He scored one run and had one RBI. He homered in the fourth inning.

Blake Wrotenbery improved to 1-0 on the year by picking up the win for the Chemeketa. Wrotenbery struck out none, walked none and gave up four hits.

Tanner Cantwell (0-1) took the loss for the Treasure Valley. He lasted just 3 2/3 innings, walked five, struck out none, and allowed four runs.
