Christian Miller hopes every outing could go as well as Sunday, as Miller threw eight scoreless innings to carry the Edmonds (19-8) to a 4-0 victory over the Skagit Valley at Skagit Valley.
The Edmonds came out swinging, scoring three runs in the first inning to jump ahead of the Skagit Valley (18-13) early. The Edmonds scored in the first on an RBI single by Justin Polzin and a two-run error.
Jesse Moore had a busy day at the plate, collecting three extra-base hits.
