Shane Hanon went 1-4 as the Edmonds (19-9) took home a 7-2 victory over the Skagit Valley (19-13) at Triton Field on Saturday.
He tripled in the sixth inning.Brian Way picked up the win for the Edmonds. Way pitched nine innings and allowed one earned run, nine hits and no walks while striking out four.
A bright spot for the Skagit Valley in the defeat was Pat Siler, who allowed only three runs while striking out six.
Joe Done was hot from the plate for the Skagit Valley. Done went 3-4 and scored one run. He singled in the fourth and seventh innings and doubled in the ninth inning.
Siler (4-2) took the loss for the Skagit Valley.
