Mt. Hood vs SW Oregon: 3-1

The SW Oregon get on top of the Mt. Hood early but can't hang on in 3-1 loss

The SW Oregon (12-31) jumped out to an early lead, but were unable to hold on and lost 3-1 to the Mt. Hood (24-17) on Friday.

While the SW Oregon led until the eighth inning, the Mt. Hood worked their way back and took the lead on an RBI single by Bowen Ogata.

J.T. Williams was hot from the plate for the Mt. Hood. Williams went 3-4 and scored one run. He tripled in the first inning and singled in the fifth and eighth innings.

The SW Oregon couldn't get anything going as long as Riley Moore was pitching. Moore gave up just one hit, allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out two during his 2 2/3 innings of work.

Dylan Pearce was effective even in defeat, mowing down six the Mt. Hood batters and allowing three runs.

Pearce couldn't get it done on the mound for the SW Oregon, taking a loss.
