Andy Schubert went 1-3 as the Chemeketa (24-16) took home a 2-1 victory over the Mt. Hood (22-17) in seven innings at Mt. Hood on Saturday.
He doubled in the fourth inning.Kris Jackson picked up the win for the Chemeketa. Jackson pitched seven innings and allowed one earned run, three hits and one walk while striking out one.
Despite the loss, the Mt. Hood's Cameron Jack dominated the Chemeketa's batters, giving up two runs and striking out six.
Jack ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his fourth loss of the year.
