DJ Peters drove in three runs, sparking the Western Nevada College to a 9-5 victory over the Mt. Hood (1-3) on Saturday at John L. Harvey Field.
He homered in the fourth inning and singled in the seventh inning.Josh Mill pitched lights out for the Western Nevada College. Mill held the Mt. Hood hitless over two innings, allowed no earned runs, walked one and struck out four.
Taylor Travess racked up three RBIs on three hits for the Mt. Hood. He singled in the first inning and doubled in the third and fifth innings.
Jordan Dreibilbis recorded the win for the Western Nevada College. He allowed two runs over four innings. Dreibilbis struck out two, walked one and gave up five hits.
Seth Rayburn (0-1) took the loss for the Mt. Hood. He allowed six runs in five innings, walked none and struck out one.
