Shineman allows no runs to lead the Bellevue past the Douglas 12-5

Robbie Shineman kept the Douglas (4-11) off the board during his 5 2/3 innings of work and the Bellevue (21-5) beat the Douglas, 12-5.

Shineman allowed two hits, no walks and struck out seven.

The biggest inning for the Bellevue was the fifth. In the inning the Bellevue scored eight runs. The Bellevue scored in the fifth on , a two-run single by Sean Clancy, an error, an error, a fielder's choice, a fielder's choice, an RBI single by Tino Peleti, and an RBI single by Peleti.

Austin Pinorini was hot from the plate for the Bellevue. Pinorini went 4-5 and scored three runs. He singled in the second, fifth, and seventh innings and tripled in the ninth inning.

Liam Kano-McGregor couldn't get it done on the mound for the Douglas, taking a loss. He lasted just two-thirds of an inning, walked one, struck out none, and allowed four runs.
