The Wenatchee Valley (4-26) beat the Blue Mountain (12-20) 9-6 on Wednesday at Wenatchee Valley behind Nolan Wirth, who went 2-3.

The Blue Mountain's lineup had no answer for Parker Rasmussen. The Blue Mountain managed just two hits off of Rasmussen, who allowed no earned runs, walked two and struck out three during his four innings of work.

Trevor Oldham reached base four times. He also drove in one runner. He doubled in the fifth inning and singled in the second and seventh innings.

The Wenatchee Valley had no answer for Brandon Cederholm, who kept runners off the basepaths in his appearance. The Wenatchee Valley managed just one hit off of Cederholm, who allowed no earned runs, walked one and struck out three during his three innings of work.

Malacki Ginner got his second win for the Wenatchee Valley despite allowing five runs over two innings. He struck out two, walked one and surrendered three hits.

Tanner Heiman couldn't get it done on the hill for the Blue Mountain, taking a loss. He lasted just three innings, walked one, struck out none, and allowed four runs.
