Offenses dominate as the Walla Walla outscore the Blue Mountain 12-8

The bats were busy at Blue Mountain on Saturday, and when the dust cleared the Walla Walla (19-10) had a 12-8 win over the Blue Mountain (11-19).

The teams totaled 23 hits in the game.

Dylan Wilbert got on base four times in the game for the Walla Walla. He singled in the sixth and seventh innings and doubled in the ninth inning.

Caleb Custer brought the heat against the Blue Mountain during his outing. Custer held the Blue Mountain hitless over three innings, allowed no earned runs, walked two and struck out two.

Griffin Davis got his fourth win for the Walla Walla despite allowing seven runs over five innings. Davis struck out five, walked none and gave up 10 hits.

Mason Cline (0-1) took the loss for the Blue Mountain. He allowed six runs in 2 2/3 innings, walked five and struck out one.
