The Tacoma (28-10) shut the door early on the Lower Columbia (28-10), capturing a 12-2 victory on Saturday at Minnitti Field .

Eight runs in the first three innings allowed the Tacoma to put the game away early.

An RBI single by Keylen Steen and a two-run single by Taylor Adams in the first inning fueled the Tacoma's offense early.

Jake Vieth went a perfect 5-5 at the plate for the Tacoma. He homered in the third inning, singled in the first, fourth, and fifth innings, and doubled in the seventh inning.

David Marshall got the win for the Tacoma thanks to seven strikeouts. Marshall allowed two earned runs, five hits and two walks over seven innings.

Alex Torson couldn't get it done on the rubber for the Lower Columbia, taking a loss. He allowed seven runs in two innings, walked none and struck out two.
