Connor Anderson went 3-3 at the plate, sparking the Yakima Valley (29-14) to an 8-4 victory over the Blue Mountain (14-25) on Wednesday at Parker Faller Field.

Ben Ross racked up two RBIs on three hits for the Blue Mountain. He singled in the first, third, and sixth innings.

Chris Petrosie improved to 9-3 on the year by picking up the win for the Yakima Valley. He allowed three runs over six innings. Petrosie struck out three, walked none and gave up eight hits.

Brock Breshears ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his seventh loss of the year. He allowed seven runs in seven innings, walked four and struck out one.
