Smith allows no runs to lead the Walla Walla past the Big Bend 6-5

Lowden Smith kept the Big Bend (17-5) off the board during his seven innings of work and the Walla Walla (16-7) beat the Big Bend, 6-5.

Smith struck out six and allowed no walks and six hits.

Steven Sordahl was solid at the plate for the Walla Walla. Sordahl went 2-6, drove in one and scored two runs. He singled in the fourth inning.

Clark Streby improved to 3-1 on the year by picking up the win for the Walla Walla. He struck out none, walked none and surrendered no hits.

Kaleb Granger couldn't get it done on the hill for the Big Bend, taking a loss. He lasted just 3 1/3 innings, walked one, struck out two, and allowed one run.
