A walk-off single from Jerred Seamons brought home the winning run for the Treasure Valley (19-14) in a 4-3 victory over the Big Bend in 11 innings at Elks Memorial on Saturday.
Seamons reached base three times. He also drove in one runner. He singled in the ninth and eleventh innings.
The Big Bend (18-6) couldn't get anything going so long as Branden Cutsforth was on the hill. The Big Bend managed just two hits off of Cutsforth, who allowed no earned runs, walked one and struck out one during his 3 2/3 innings of work.
Jordan Lucas recorded his first win of the year for the Treasure Valley. He allowed one run over 3 1/3 innings. Lucas struck out two, walked none and gave up three hits.
Jaime Vela ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his first loss of the year. He lasted just 2 2/3 innings, walked one, struck out none, and allowed three runs.
