The Columbia Basin (14-3) continued to pile up the runs on Wednesday, scoring four runs in the last two innings, on the way to an 11-1 landslide win over the Big Bend (11-2) at Columbia Basin Baseball Field.

The Columbia Basin scored four runs in the eighth on the Columbia Basin scored in the eighth on a hit by pitch, a hit by pitch, a fielder's choice, a groundout by Michael Wyatt, a single by Anthony Gosline, and an RBI single by Logan Green.

Drew Loera racked up four RBIs on three hits for the Columbia Basin. He tripled in the first inning, doubled in the second inning, and singled in the fourth inning.

Tanner Simpson had an impressive outing against the Big Bend's lineup. The Big Bend managed just one hit off of Simpson, who allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out four during his five innings of work.

Tyler Winkler couldn't get it done on the mound for the Big Bend, taking a loss. He allowed seven runs in six innings, walked none and struck out five.
