The bats were busy at Johnson-O'Brien Stadium on Friday, and when the dust cleared the Big Bend (7-0) had an 11-10 win over the Thompsons River in eight innings.

The two teams combined for 29 hits in the game.

Josh Kallstrom racked up four RBIs on two hits for the Big Bend. He singled in the first inning and doubled in the sixth inning.

I Mcdonald racked up three RBIs on three hits for the Thompsons River. He singled in the first, third, and eighth innings.

Sam Glowicki improved to 1-0 on the year by picking up the win for the Big Bend. He allowed two runs over two innings. Glowicki struck out one, walked two and gave up two hits.

R Gillis (0-3) took the loss for the Thompsons River. He allowed 11 runs in 6 2/3 innings, walked one and struck out two.
