Hein allows no runs to lead the British Columbia past the New Brunswick 5-1

Jake Hein kept the New Brunswick (4-3) off the board during his five innings of work and the British Columbia (4-2) beat the New Brunswick, 5-1.

Hein struck out one and allowed two walks and two hits.

Erik Herbranson delivered a big hit off the bench in the five.. His pinch-hit single was the key moment in the British Columbia's four-run win.

With the game scoreless in the fifth inning Herbranson came to the plate and singled.

Dave Hole was solid at the plate for the British Columbia. Hole went 2-3, drove in one and scored one run. He singled in the fourth inning and homered in the sixth inning.

Pascal McCarthy (0-1) took the loss for the New Brunswick. He lasted just five innings, walked three, struck out three, and allowed four runs.
