The Host (Lanaudi��re offense too much for the British Columbia in 13-3 rout

The Host (Lanaudi��re (5-1) jumped out to an early lead on the British Columbia (4-2) and captured a 13-3 victory on Sunday at Parc Laverdiere one.

With nine runs in the first three innings, the Host (Lanaudi��re left no doubt about the eventual outcome.

An error, an RBI single by William Lacroix, and an RBI single by Lacroix in the first inning and an error, a two-run single by Nathan Primeau, an error, a fielder's choice, and an error during the second inning fueled the Host (Lanaudi��re's offense early.

Benjamin Sauve racked up three RBIs on two hits for the Host (Lanaudi��re. He tripled in the first and fifth innings.

Kenneth Sugi paced the British Columbia at the plate. Sugi went 2-2 and scored one run. He singled in the third innings and doubled in the fourth inning.

Alexis Dubeau improved to 1-0 on the year by picking up the win for the Host (Lanaudi��re. He allowed three runs over five innings. Dubeau struck out two, walked none and gave up six hits.

Kai Sands (0-1) took the loss for the British Columbia. He allowed six runs in 1 2/3 innings, walked two and struck out two.
