Fans were treated to a high-scoring affair Sunday as the River City Rascals (44-34) outscored the Rockford Aviators (42-36) 15-10.

The teams totaled 29 hits in the game.

Taylor Ard reached base four times in the game for the River City Rascals. He scored three runs and had two RBIs. He singled in the fourth inning.

Dusty Robinson had two extra-base hits for the Rockford Aviators. He homered in the second inning and tripled in the ninth innings.

Victor Beriguete improved to 2-0 on the year by picking up the win for the River City Rascals. Beriguete struck out none, walked none and gave up one hit.

Paul Lujan couldn't get it done on the hill for the Rockford Aviators, taking a loss. He lasted just 1 1/3 innings, walked two, struck out one, and allowed three runs.
